Our methodology is to focus on reading and writing as a core program. This encourages students to explore English out of their own interest as opposed to a requirement. In addition to books and novels, we also include a grammar supplement which is presented in an engaging manner. We strive to produce an integrated program that meets the needs of every student who comes to the center.
The interests of the students are our highest priority, so all of our teachers are charismatic and well-versed in different educational methods. The teachers at the center come from top institutions in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. This variety of background allows our teachers to be prepared for any educational requisites that the students need.
Vivian Chung is the director of the center and she holds a Master's Degree in Psychology in Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University. With years of experience teaching children from the U.S. and Hong Kong, she is a frontrunner in the promotion of reading as an effective educational tool. Having led seminars on the subject, as well as having been a guest lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Ms. Chung is an authority on the subject.
